Installation
- Open App Store application on your Mac.
- Serch for "Toad".
- Toad is found, click on FREE button, it changes to INSTALL APP, click on it and installation starts.
- Confirm the installation, review License Agreement, confirm installation location and authorize your installation with Administrator credentials.
"Toad" application is installed in Applications and application icon is added in the Launchpad.
First start - Welcome dialog
When you first start Toad from the Launchpad or Applications directory, Welcome dialog opens.
The dialog allows you to set which database platforms you want to connect to. The setting influences database platforms offered for creating new connections etc., so if you leave the Welcome page settings as is, you will be able to create only Oracle Database connections unless you go to Toad | Preferences | Databases and select PostgreSQL and/or MySQL databases to be used.
